New to CrossFit?

If you're new to CrossFit and would like to join our awesome community of athletes at CrossFit Outpace, we're here to help you get started with our onboarding process. We made it free and mandatory for all new CrossFit athletes to complete this process because we care about your health and safety, and because we care about maintaining the quality of coaching in our classes. See details below.

Experienced CrossFitter?

If you are an experienced CrossFitter with at least 3 months or more of CrossFit training, please contact us to discuss your onboarding process. Chances are you may be ready to jump into our classes, but we'd like to discuss with you first.

COME MEET US AND TAKE AN INTRODUCTORY CLASS

Come see what Outpace is all about!  This is an opportunity to check out the gym and ask any questions you may have. It is also a chance for us to get to know you and hear your story. If you'd like, we'll give you a "teaser" workout to get your curiosity going. These workouts are appropriate for beginners and you don't need to "get in shape" to complete one. This introductory workout will be relatively short and consist of non-technical, accessible movements, but it will give you a good idea of what it feels like to participate in one of our sessions.

ENROLL IN FUNDAMENTALS

Ready to sign up? We will first have you complete a 3-class introductory course designed  to teach you the fundamental movements we regularly use at CrossFit Outpace as well as ensure you employ proper mechanics, positioning and technique.

Oh, and unlike most other CrossFit gyms, this is our investment in you, so it is free with your membership!!

JOIN OUR CLASSES!

Once you complete your Fundamentals program and your coach has cleared you, you will be fully ready to join our regular classes!

 

ALL of our classes are completely scalable, from the most inexperienced beginner to the elite athlete, and anywhere in between. In fact, most of us scale some or all parts or most workouts. As Coach Greg Glassman, Founder of CrossFit, so aptly puts it, "Your needs and the Olympic athlete's differ by degree not kind." And any scaling will be tailored to YOU by your coach, based on YOUR current fitness level and goals.

QUARTERLY CHECK-INs

We will help you regularly measure your results and make sure you stay on track. It is also an opportunity to review, discuss and refine your short and long-term fitness goals with your coach, and design a roadmap to achieve them.

A note on new memberships

If you are new to CrossFit and decide to join our CrossFit Outpace family, we will ask that you initially commit to our program for 3 months. We don’t do this because we want to “lock you in” to a contract. In fact, we loathe contracts and refuse to lock our members into long term contracts as many other gyms do. We do this only for members that have never been exposed to CrossFit before, because our experience says that the first three months are critical:

 

1) The first few weeks can be tough, and it takes some time for your body (and your mind) to adjust to a new way of training. It is not uncommon to want to throw in the towel after a particularly challenging workout. But we know if you just see the first couple of months through, chances are you will clearly see the value and the impact that CrossFit has on your daily life.

 

2) While CrossFit will be truly transformative to your health, your body needs time to adapt and it may take some time to visually see gains. We believe in long-term, sustainable change, so we simply want you to hang on long enough to give the program a fair shot to succeed. If after the first three months you don’t feel this program is for you, we will make it painless to cancel your membership. But we bet you won't want to.
