CrossFit Outpace originally started as a tiny affiliate out of our founder’s garage in Windsor with a handful of loyal members. Even though we have grown and are lucky enough to be in a larger location in the heart of Windsor, we have not forgotten our roots -- maintaining a small family culture and a welcoming, inclusive environment for all of our members is an integral part of our values. We know each and every one of our members, and always provide coaching on a personal level. This will never change.
We believe in quality coaching for every single athlete, in every single class. We know this is the right path to get you breakthrough, sustainable results.
We have a true passion for CrossFit, and walk the talk. In fact, you will see our coaches jump in everyday and perform the same workouts (when they are not coaching) as the rest of our members. We are committed to your fitness and your health, enthusiastic about our community, and always striving to make your time at CrossFit Outpace the best hour of your day.
Owner / Head Coach
Alex grew up in Spain playing competitive soccer as a goalie and racing as an 800m runner on the track & field team. In his 30’s he caught the running bug and competed in several long distance running events, ranging from 5Ks to half marathons. His experience in endurance sports gave him an exceptional ability to discern the appropriate pacing strategy to maximize an athlete’s potential on a given workout.
Once he discovered CrossFit, he was immediately hooked. Not only did he know he had found the perfect training regimen to achieve his highest fitness potential, but became humbled and inspired by the community that CrossFit creates.
Alex always promotes a positive training environment at CrossFit Outpace, in order to help his clients defeat self-doubt and overcome any self-imposed limitations so they can unlock and achieve their full potential.
Alex head coaches our adult and Kids classes, holds a number of CrossFit accreditations, and regularly attends additional training as part of his continuing education, which he then applies to coaching his athletes.

Vince was born and raised in Sonoma County playing any recreational sport he could. He grew up with three brothers who all played sports as well, so being a competitive athlete was natural to him. He later settled on football and basketball, which he played all throughout high school. In the spring of 2013, Vince discovered CrossFit as regionals were being held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Inspired by the amazing athletes at the event, he started CrossFit himself, and his passion for the sport has continued to grow.
In addition to being a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Vince is currently attending Santa Rosa Junior College majoring in Kinesiology, working towards a career as a physical therapist. Some of his favorite movements consist of Olympic lifting and ring muscle ups.
Growing up in Sonoma County, Ally was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. She decided to end her gymnastics career after reaching level 8, and with her newfound free time she participated in a variety of sports/activities -- from taekwondo to softball -- ultimately choosing to focus on volleyball and track and field (hurdles) for the duration of her four years at Windsor High.
During a summer home from UCLA (Go Bruins!), Ally discovered CrossFit and immediately fell in the love with its competitive sport-like nature. Now that she is back in Windsor teaching English at her alma mater, in addition to coaching adult classes, she is excited to combine her passion for CrossFit with her love of working with teenagers to co-coach our Kids and Teens programs.
One of the things Craig loves most about athletics and training is the mental game and the inevitable personal growth that comes with doing hard things over and over. He grew up in an active family where family reunions were more like Olympic event gatherings (frisbee, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, etc.). If it had a score that could be kept, it was on the list. Growing up he played organized soccer, baseball, and studied martial arts for years until leaving Santa Rosa to attend college.
Craig has a passion for human physiology and biomechanics. He remembers studying musculoskeletal charts in elementary school to improve his comic book drawings. However, as an adult he has realized that what he was really interested in was a greater understanding of the body, how it moves and how it is put together. Before graduating chiropractic school in 2006 Craig also sought credentialing as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, just for fun. When he found the Crossfit methodology along with its profound yet concise explanation of total human fitness, there was no going back. Now a full-time doctor of chiropractic, and owner/operator of Hartman Chiropractic, Craig spends most of his day helping others move better. But here at Outpace, he is fully committed to helping you move yourself better.
